About this camp

Camp Galileo offers engaging, hands-on STEAM projects and collaborative design challenges for campers from kindergarten through 8th grade, with a Counselor in Training (CIT) program for rising 8th-10th graders. The curriculum is grounded in the Galileo Innovation Approach, which focuses on developing critical thinking, teamwork, and iteration skills. Campers build creative confidence by turning their ideas into individual, polished STEAM projects to take home each week, such as remote-controlled robots, animal bots with motors, catapults, carnival games, arcade games, and go-karts. The program also incorporates outdoor play, team-building challenges, songs, skits, and silly traditions to create a fun and enriching summer experience. Through these activities, campers learn to creatively solve problems, fearlessly try new things, and persist in the face of challenges, fostering an innovator's mindset.

What a typical day looks like
