CodeREV Kids Robotics Camps offer an engaging, project-based learning experience where students delve into the exciting world of robotics and engineering. Campers work with robotics kits and software, including Arduino and Lego Mindstorms, to build and control autonomous machines. They gain practical engineering and programming experience, learning concepts from simple circuitry to C++ programming. The curriculum emphasizes teamwork, problem-solving, and computational thinking, allowing students to develop valuable tech skills while fostering creativity and confidence. Campers will build and program robots, integrate motors, lights, sounds, and sensors, and tackle exciting challenges. They also get to take home their final projects.
A typical day includes group check-in and games, multiple 'CREATE PERIODs' for hands-on project work, morning and afternoon snack breaks, lunch, and outdoor games and activities, concluding with a 'Pair and Share' session.
