The program offers a unique "no code and low code" approach to data science and machine learning using the Apache Texera platform, making it accessible to students with varying computing backgrounds.
The UC Irvine Data Science for All Summer Program is a one-week intensive program for high school students designed to introduce them to the fundamental principles of data science, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML). Students will engage in hands-on activities and learn concepts such as data modeling, data cleaning, data wrangling, and visualization. The curriculum also covers basic Python programming for data processing and familiarizes students with AI and ML techniques, including model training, classification, and sentiment analysis. The program utilizes the open-source Apache Texera platform, providing a “no code and low code” experience to make these complex topics accessible even to those with limited computing backgrounds. A significant component of the program is a capstone project where students apply their newly acquired skills to analyze real-world data. Upon successful completion, students receive a certificate, and those with strong performance may be eligible for recommendation letters from the organizers, who include professors and Ph.D. students from UCI and UCLA.
A typical day involves a morning lecture session followed by an afternoon lab session where students apply concepts learned. Lunch is provided.
This program is ideal for high school students in 9th, 10th, or 11th grade (as of April 2026) with an interest in data science, AI, and machine learning, who have completed Algebra II or Integrated Math II.

Orange County STEM Summer Camps is a free directory service that aggregates publicly available information about STEM programs, summer camps, and educational opportunities. We do not operate, sponsor, endorse, accredit, certify, or have any affiliation with the camps and programs listed here unless explicitly stated.
All program details — including pricing, session dates, instructor credentials, curriculum, safety policies, refund terms, transportation, meal arrangements, and admission requirements — are sourced from publicly available information and may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. Listings are partially generated and updated using automated AI-assisted research, which can occasionally produce inaccurate details. Parents and guardians are solely responsible for independently verifying every detail directly with the camp before enrolling, paying, or relying on any information shown here.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind — including but not limited to financial loss, missed sessions, refund disputes, injury, child safety incidents, transportation issues, dissatisfaction with educational outcomes, or any other harm — arising from your use of this directory or your decision to enroll a child in any listed program. Your use of this site constitutes acceptance of these terms.
If you are a camp operator and notice any inaccurate information about your program, please contact us and we will review and update it. By submitting an inquiry via this site, you consent to the camp contacting you with information about their program.
